Good morning. I hope you enjoyed your break, and that you practised your English skills every day.
This morning I would like you to read a newspaper article, and to write questions in response.
Before you read the article, think about boredom. Are you ever bored? Have you ever had a boring job? Is being bored good or bad? How do you respond to boredom? Do you ever daydream?
When you encounter words or expressions that are unfamiliar to you, try to figure out what the writer is saying before you use the dictionary.
Jot down vocabulary items you wish to review later.
Create a Word document and format it correctly. Then write questions in response to the article. Go beyond details, and think critically.
Send your document to my email by 10.00.

March Break
Just a reminder to use your English skills during March Break. Check out the opportunities to get involved in activities around the city. Visit your local library. Read everything you can. Visit a museum or art gallery. Engage in random acts of kindness.
After the break, you will have a test on the AWL sublist 4, 1-20 as well as a test on Unit 3.
E-mail me if you have questions.
Enjoy the break.
